Freqently Asked Question:

What is ImageLord.com?
ImageLord is a totally free image hosting service. ImageLord can be used to share pictures with friends, as well as to post images on message boards, blogs, websites, and more!

Does ImageLord cost anything?
ImageLord.com is absolutely %100 free.

How do I upload images?
Go to ImageLord. Select browse to find an image on your computer that you want to upload. Select an image, press ok/open and then press the “host it!” button. After a short while (depending on your internet connection and image size), your image will upload and you will see a number of boxes with linking codes for your uploaded image. Depending on your use for the image, use any one of these linking codes.

Does ImageLord allow direct linking?
Direct linking is embedding an image into a message board, personal webpage, or eBay auction. Yes, this is allowed.

Will the images I upload ever be deleted?
Your images will only be deleted if they do not adhere to our Terms of Service. Otherwise, your images will be available forever.

What is the upload limit? Which image types am I allowed to upload?
You may upload as many images as you like as long as they are 2MB in size or less. We accept the following file types: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .tiff, .swf

I lost the link to my image, what do I do?
If you need another URL for your image, simply upload it again.

I uploaded an image and direct linked it, but it shows up as a red-x. What do I do?
Make sure you are using the correct link that is given to you on the upload-done page. If you uploaded an image and it now shows as a red-X, it may be that the server on which your image is located is temporarily down; however this is a rare occurrence.

When I try to upload an image, the upload does not complete and I get a blank page.
This is probably due to the fact that you tried to upload an image that is greater than 2MB in size. It could also be that your connection timed out, which may occur if you have a slow Internet connection. Try to upload another image to see if that solves the problem. If your image is too large, please see the next question in this FAQ.

All my images are too big, how do I compress them?
The best way to convert images is by using software such as PhotoShop, Paint Shop Pro, or The Gimp (refer to the Image Compression Tutorial). You can also convert images using the Easy Graphic Converter or IrfanView. This software is extremely easy to use.

I would like an image deleted, what do I do?
Generally, it is not necessary to delete a picture that you no longer have use for, or one that you accidentally upload. This is because ImageLord has enough hard drive space to accommodate your needs.
